Faith Formation for All Ages
Our Faith Formation program is designed to support families and children in:
- Understanding Catholic beliefs and traditions.
- Celebrating in worship with the parish community.
- Living the Gospel message of love, peace, and social justice.
- Growing closer to Christ in prayer.
Children's Liturgy is offered Sunday mornings during our 9:00am Mass, September through June.
This program was developed to give younger children a chance to listen and pray at their level of understanding. Children are invited up to the altar before the first reading. They will receive a blessing from the priest or deacon and then proceed with their Catechist (adult leader) to Room 1 - adjacent to the church hallway. They will hear the Children’s Liturgy of the Word and then return into the Church following the homily. Parents are always welcome to attend with their children.
For older children who have received their sacraments and wish to follow along, Children’s Mass Books are located in the pews.
Become a new Catechist (adult leader)! No experience necessary. We provide all the materials and training. If you are interested please contact Teri Bucks. This a great way to share your faith with our young ones!
The first Sunday of each month is a Family Mass. Children are invited to stay in church during the Liturgy of the Word to hear a special homily directed towards them. Often groups or families are invited to participate in the roles of the Mass.
